As the State President of SRVCS, he led many Gandhian movements for promotion of the welfare of depressed classes and the downtrodden. He fought for social justice and all his agitations created a new culture in the field of movements for social justice. None of his agitation crossed the limit of ethics and his leadership was appreciated by one and all. The silent agitation in front of the official residence of the Chief Minister of Kerala was appreciated even by the authorities, a movement highlighting perfect discipline. A similar movement at Angamaly to call the attention of the Chief Minister of Kerala and yet another silent movement at Koratty in Thrissur district also were well appreciated by the authorities.
He organised many state convention of SRVCS to highlight the cultural awakening of the depressed classes. Some of the important such conventions were held at Angamaly, Ernakulam presided over by Sri K.K Viswanathan, Former Governor of Gujarat, Palakkad presided over by cultural leader Sri Sukumar Azhikod, Ernakulam presided over Justice K.K Usha, Former chief Justice of Kerala, Thrissur presided over Sri C.N Balakrishnan, the then Minister of Kerala, at Koratty in Thrissur district presided over by the then Minister P.P George. Some other important conventions were also held at Kodungalloor, Thrissur district, Adimali, Idukki district, Chalakkudi Thrissur district.
