1. | Promoted a pioneer arts Samithi, Sree Sankara School of Dance jointly by Prof. Peethambaran and Sudha Peethambaran. |
2. | Promoted International Sree Sankara Dance & Music Festival (ISSDMF) at Kalady from 2017 onwards. Organised National Sree Sankara Dance & Music Festival (SSDMF) from 2003 to 2017. |
3. | Organised many ancillary units of S.S.D. to promote classical dance and music. SAAC, SREECO, Sree Sankara Natyasabha, Sree Sankara Cultural Foundation, Sree Narayana Cultural Foundation, Sree Sankara Music Academy, P.T.A.,etc. are examples. |
4. | Introduced the concept of ‘Art for Social Change’ to address social, educational, environmental problems by visualising these problems. |
5. | Organised many workshops, seminars, lecture demonstrations, Art Appreciation class to promote and popularize classical arts. |
6. | Promoted choreography of mega dance productions to highlight the great Indian values. Visualisation based on the teachings, messages, works of Adi Sankaracharya, Sree Narayana Gurudev, Lord Krishna are examples of mention a few by co-ordinating the choreographic skills of Dr. C.P.Unnikrishnan and Mrs. Sudha Peethambaran. |
7. | Promoted and motivated training to nearly thirty thousand students from rural areas through Sree Sankara School of Dance since the inception of SSD in 1993. |
8. | Promoted many young artistes to take up dance as a profession through various projects and schemes like Choreofest, SAAC, Vision 2020, Eka Festival, SSDMF, ISSDMF, Nrutholsav etc. |
